Behind the Name.

In art, there are different types of edges, and one is called a broken edge. This edge is the perfect transition to bridge the gap between realism and abstraction. It allows for the opportunity to color outside the lines, producing imperfect brushstrokes to create something so organically pure. Broken Edges stands for being authentically different and coloring outside the lines to be your true self. It represents our imperfections and enjoying the process of becoming on this side of eternity. We all have Broken Edges, and, in our brokenness, we recognize our need for Jesus, who in His love, uses our brokenness to do great things.

Broken Edges, B.E. for short, is a reminder to simply BE. BE in His Presence and BE your true self.

“There’s a crack in everything. That’s where the Light gets in.”
